How to get the Venom Spitter
It appears in the regular Seed Shop for 30,000,000 Sheckles or 1,399 Robux. The restock chance is 19 in 4,000 (0.475%), which works out to roughly one appearance every 17.5 hours of shop rotations.
That is a long wait, and it is the main reason people buy this one rather than camping the shop for it.
What the Venom Spitter does
The Venom Spitter attacks players who enter your garden at night. This is confirmed by the developers directly — a patch note from 19 July 2026 reads: "Resolved an issue causing the Venom Spitter to stop attacking players".
It only acts at night, which is when stealing is active, so it works as a garden defence rather than a farming boost. It does not affect you, only other players entering your garden.
The community wiki describes the ability as "The Venom Spitter can attack the player at night by spitting venom at them". We cannot confirm that is the exact in-game wording — no source shows a screenshot — but the behaviour itself is developer-confirmed, which matters more.

As a multi-harvest crop it keeps producing after the first pick, so the sell value compounds over time rather than being one-and-done.
"Venom Splitter" and the pet mix-up
Two things get confused about this crop constantly.
It is spelled Venom Spitter, not "Splitter." The misspelling shows up in marketplace listing titles and auto-generated video pages, but no such item exists in the game.
It is a crop, not a pet. At least one large gaming site published it under a "pets" headline and the error spread from there. It is planted from a seed like any other crop.
Separately, the Maple Venom Spitter is a different item — a Fall Harvest crop, not a variant or mutation of this one.
How Venom Spitter sale price is actually calculated
The game calculates a fruit's sale price like this:
Price = SellValue × SizeFactor × SizeMultiplier × MutationMultiplier × DecayPenalty × FriendsBonus, rounded down.
The part that matters most is SizeFactor, which is Size raised to the power of 2.5 for almost every crop. That is steeply non-linear: a fruit 50% larger sells for about 176% more, and one at double size sells for roughly 5.7×.
Two crops override it — Mushroom uses 1.9 and Bamboo 1.75, so oversized specimens of those are worth proportionally less than they would be otherwise.
Above a size of 5, diminishing returns kick in and the exponent drops to 1.5. Enormous fruit are still worth more, just not on the same curve.
Decay costs 80% of value at full decay, and each friend on your server adds 10%.
