Where Our Grow a Garden 2 Data Comes From

Every figure here is traceable. These are the sources we use, in order of weight — and the ones we will not cite at all.

Primary sources

Roblox official APIs. Exact badge award counts, pulled directly from Roblox. Nobody can edit these. The same APIs also expose live player counts and vote totals, which we do not currently publish — we list here only what we actually use. Badge figures on this site are a snapshot taken when the page was last built — counts only ever rise, so treat a figure as a floor rather than a live total.

The game's own crop data. A raw data table carrying value, weight, currency, prime duration and harvest type for 93 crops. This is what the game runs on.

Developer communications. Official patch notes and announcements from the game's studio account.

Secondary sources

We use the Grow a Garden 2 community wiki and a small number of established guide sites, but only where several independent ones agree, and never over a primary source.

Sources we will not cite

Several sites in this niche publish invented figures. We found one giving two different values for the same item on two of its own pages, and several publishing a shop price and restock chance for an item that has no shop entry at all.

We do not cite them, and we do not count them as corroboration when they happen to agree with something — because several of them cite each other.

Checking us

Roblox's APIs are public. Anyone can pull the same player counts and badge figures we do and get the same numbers. That is deliberate: a claim you cannot check is worth less than one you can.

Common questions

Do you use the Grow a Garden 2 wiki?

Yes, but only where multiple independent sources agree, and never over the game's own data. Where the wiki and the game's data files disagree, the data files win.
